Communications Manager

Job Summary: Develops and manages all internal communications for Kimray. Collaborates across all business units to create stories that describe and promote Kimray products, goals and culture.


Essential Job Functions:




  • Creates communication plans for key initiatives


  • Handles all communications with media and other public outlets


  • Develops and implements a company-wide communication strategy


  • Manages and designs a public relations strategy to build a positive public image, increase value and maintain support of customers, stakeholders and the public


  • Researches and recommends new technologies, tools and best practices to more effectively reach and engage team members


  • Creates and implements ongoing strategic metrics, both qualitative and quantitative


  • Develops and maintains departmental goals and strategies that align with company vision


  • Creates processes that ensure captures stories of team members and the organization


  • Ensures creation of content and communications that enhance business goals


  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member


  • Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals


  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill


  • Performs other duties as assigned



Qualifications:




  • 3-5 years? experience in related field required


  • Working knowledge of communication and public relation techniques


  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations


  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills


  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule


  • Ability to manage multiple projects


  • Must have proficient computer and technological skills


  • Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups


  • Must have valid driver?s license and clean MVR


  • Must pass background check and drug screen


  • Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
