Job Description POSITION
Summary:
Act as liaison a daily basis with the emphasis on customer satisfaction, providing scheduling information, promoting sales programs, and the placing and shipping of boat orders.
Maintain a high level of competence, professionalism and confidentiality as a representative of Skeeter while continuing to develop ideas and actions to improve the overall professionalism
Essential Functions:
- Constant telephone communication with dealers.
- Assist-s Territory Managers with load configurations going to their territories.
- Monitor Dealer Commitment achievement levels and advise Territory Managers.
- Assists Marketing in the processing orders and prioritizes as necessary.
- Update Marketing on the status of Team Orders as necessary.
Work with Marketing daily to flush-out any orders which may be need to for production.
- Possess daily knowledge of production schedule and all current sales programs and promotions.
Must have working knowledge of how all Sales and Marketing Programs work together and be able to offer explanation to dealers as needed.
- Process orders received by phone/mail/fax immediately through the QAD Order Entry System.
Processing includes, but is not limited to, dealer approval for incoming orders as well as daily contact with DFS for credit approval.
- Monitor and maintain daily orders in the QAD System (review credit holds, unfilled orders, back orders, etc.
).
- Process of miscellaneous sales administration paperwork (i.
e.
, crediting, rebilling, infield transfers, etc.
).
- When necessary work with warranty to credit and bring boats back into the inventory system at an assigned value.
(Primarily a warranty function.
)- Maintain and update STOCK inventory, both on site inventory and offsite inventory.
This includes crediting, rebilling, assigning fair market value and, with the assistance of the transportation and warranty dept.
, the proper care of this inventory (covering, cleaning, buffing if needed).
- Make sure all paperwork is filed properly and is an order and area that can be accessed and easily found by all sales and other authorized personnel.
- Maintain daily telephone log report and -Orders Received Report-.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
TITLE:
SALES COORDINATOR (CONT)QUALIFICATIONS- High School education with 1 - 2 year-s college or business school equivalent.
- Requires considerable initiative and judgment under limited supervision.
- Good telephone personality required.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including personal computer.
- Knowledge and confident experience with Word and Excel software.
